I have worked in the area of Interior Design since 1996, accredited with City & Guild Certification, having studied at Cork College of Fashion Design.
Located near Kinsale, Co. Cork, I work within the larger Munster region undertaking both domestic and commercial projects for a wide range of budget requirements. I cater and design for every room in the house, and am happy to take on any project; from a single one room design to the redesign of an entire house. Working alongside other professionals in the industry (e.g. tilers, painters/decorators, upholsterers and curtain tailors) I undertake project management or work in conjunction with clients, depending on requirements.
My gift for design does not come entirely from years of training; I believe that it is innate. Nicknamed "Catchy Matchy Co" as a child by my parents, I showed signs of design co-ordination from a young age.
In addition to designing I have been conducting courses for adult education in several local schools: Douglas Community School; Kinsale Community School; and Ashton School.
Always endeavouring to broaden my skills, I recently undertook the task of designing for residents of a Dementia Care Unit. I found this experience both fascinating, rewarding and enjoyable all at the same time.
My fee can be negotiated on an initial consultation basis and/or an hourly rate, therefore no project is too big or too small.
